Keipher Scott
Korexion Keipher Scott aka Korexion hails from Trench Town, Jamaica and is increasingly becoming a voice of the people. His ability to capture and express the emotions and experiences of a generation makes him a rare and compelling artist destined for success. His talents stem from being musically educated and inspired by some of Jamaica’s reggae pioneers; this is also due to being raised within a family whose traditions centered on and around the art of music. His music is influenced by reggae, hip-hop and pop styles, which create a musical myriad guaranteed to satisfy any listener. Korexion uses his love and talent for music to communicate his message to his audience.

His musical journey began in Trenchtown, Jamaica where he co-formed the duo “Two Of A Kind.” He and fellow group member/brother Omar performed in multiple shows that they repeatedly won, such as Second Runner Up, Group, in Portmore Talent Search, Jamaica and also in other various school talent searches throughout Kingston, Jamaica. As Korexion began to fully immerse himself into his talent and art from music, he decided to broaden his horizons and bring his talents to CAN to embark on a solo career.

Upon arriving in Toronto, Korexion was faced with many obstacles in his life. He resided in shelters and worked his way, literally, from the ground up. From the crime filled tenements of Trenchtown to the concrete jungle of Toronto, the hardships in Korexion’s life increased the passion of his song content, and motivated him to reach for a higher level within his personal and business endeavours.

This began a progressive and successful musical journey for Korexion. He honed his writing skills and joined forces with Kornerstone Productions, and through this family, has been able to become even more effective in doing and creating what he loves best: music. In 2005, Korexion released his debut single “It’s All Bless” which has proven itself locally and internationally. This single was on high rotation not only in CAN, but also in Japan, the U.K., the U.S., and in the Caribbean.

The success of this single led to Korexion’s next EP titled “X-Rated” in 2006. This EP has three songs including It’s All Bless, Don’t Go and title track Xrated features fellow reggae artist Danny English. Title track Xrated has been received notably amongst radio listeners and is on continuous rotation on various radio stations locally and abroad. The esteem of these three recordings led to international interest via radio and online radio programs. Radio stations that have continuously played Korexion’s music are:
